For many it's all about 'getting a job' but for some it's about getting the right job. Absolutely agree with the tips for increasing your chances of getting that the job. The interviewee should also wants to know, not only if he/she fits the profile required for the company culture but, that the company is one they want to work for. Beyond the salary package does the company supply training, planned career progression with real opportunities for advancement, employee reviews,? How do they treat their employees and what facilities are made available for employees? What are 'real' working hour expectations (especially if you on a fixed salary), what is the current financial condition of the company, is their business growing ? One question I always tell people to ask the interviewer at the end of an interview: 'All things considered how do you like working here'? Interesting to see how long it takes them to formulate a response.

I want to hear potential employees ask me what they would be doing every day, unless they already have lots of experience (in which case, they will be asking me questions like, "Do I get to use Ophir's GWO hack?")
